TeaPots

By Allston Mitchell, October 23, 2012

On the left – the old world, a traditional silver tea pot complete with stand and spirit heater. On the right – the new world, an amazing toy that can be switched to say ‘hello’ when the lid is opened, make a gurgling sound when rotated as if pouring, and also plays back multiple tunes. This is an impressive bit of modern technology, but the teabag label (tune selector) dangling from the lid demonstrates to what depths tea has been reduced, even the babes are being inculcated!
