William James "Willie" Dixon (1915 – 1992) was a vocalist, songwriter, arranger and record producer who played both the double bass and the guitar. He was one of the most prolific songwriters of his time. Just a selection if his best known songs: "Little Red Rooster", "Hoochie Coochie Man", "Evil", "Spoonful", "Back Door Man", "I Just Want to Make Love to You", "I Ain't Superstitious", "My Babe", "Wang Dang Doodle", and "Bring It On Home".
